How to update division capacity

Division Capacity Controls The Total Number Of Participants Allowed In A Specific Division. If You Need To Increase Or Decrease The Number Of Available Participant Spots, You Can Update This Directly From The Division Settings.

Steps to Update Division Capacity

  1. Navigate to the event you want to update

  2. Select Divisions from the left-hand menu

    1. Alternative: Click Divisions in the event dashboard header

  3. Choose the division you want to update and click 'View Division'

  4. Go to Division Defaults.

  5. Find the Total Participants field.

  6. Update the number to reflect the new division capacity.

  7. Save your changes.

Example

If a division was originally limited to 16 participants and you want to expand it to 24, update the Total Participants field from 16 to 24.

Important Note

Changing the total participants updates the division capacity moving forward. Be sure the new number matches the format, schedule, venue availability, and operational plan for the event.
