Event Registration - Create a Team
For Events/Leagues That Require Individual Registration As A Member Of A Team Follow These Steps To Create Your Team.
- Using Tournkey's event director or a link from an event producer navigate to the list of divisions
- Tip: Click 'Register' on the event landing page to quickly navigate to find your divisions
- Select 'Create Team'
- On the next screen confirm the division you selected is correct and read the registration message provided by the organizer (if applicable)
- Select or Create a Team
- Enter your team information
- Select a Display Name by choosing:
- Nickname - For events that allow for a single name this is the best choice i.e., The Eagles, Rockets, Average Joes
- City + Nickname - This is the most traditional team name format. Using the city field find your Google City/Town Name i.e., Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Red Sox, Savannah Bananas.
- For those unable to find their city use the Org. Identifier field
- Org. Identifier + Nickname - A common but less traditional naming function. Org. Identifier is for regions, counties, or other formats not used in Google's data base i.e., Tri-City Tornadoes, Durham Lightning, Southern Hospitality
- If you are participating in the event select your name from the drop down. If you're new to Tournkey quickly register yourself. You can also register someone else by creating an athlete.
- You will be responsible for managing any athletes you create through this process including payments
- If you wish to have this individual manage their account complete the steps found here with their information or share the event link
- Review and approve the refund policy and the terms and conditions
- Select from the payment options provided by the event.
- Complete your transaction.
